On Sunday, a rare event will take place at the stadium of the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team. The black and yellow jersey with the number 68, which Jaromír Jágr wore for 11 years, rises to the ceiling. He will receive this honor only as the third Czech player in the NHL, and the whole city cannot wait for the event. But before that, the fourth best scorer in the history of the overseas competition must complete all the tasks written in his diary.

Jaromír took not only his partner Dominika to America, but of course also his mother Anna, who has a huge part in his success. She provided him with the necessary background. And he still loves hockey! She showed it when the organizers took her on a tour of the hall and then the fan shop. “When I watch TV at home, I only watch hockey,” she said as the first sentence in the store, which also sold jerseys with her son’s name on them.

“Mama Jagr” was introduced to the salespeople as the chief custodian of Jagr’s memorabilia, which made them laugh and immediately added more to her collection. She really liked the medal with the number 68. “She’s beautiful, so I already have everything at home,” she declared.

In the end, however, the Olympic champion’s mother still took home a few souvenirs. She also stopped for a moment at the Pittsburgh captain’s jersey, whose performances she has obviously studied. “Crosby is very good,Mrs. Jágrová laughed at the camera.

“I love Pittsburgh. It’s my number one. I have many fond memories of this city and it is my second home.” said the obviously moved mother, who brought tears to many fans’ eyes with her words. “Jaromír Jágr’s mother, Anna Jágrová, really captured our hearts,” wrote the Penguins to the touching video of the entire visit.
