Israel eliminates 2 terrorist leaders and Hezbollah launches violent response

Islamists were hit while they were on board a vehicle

Israel killed two terrorist commanders in southern Lebanon, prompting a violent response from Hezbollah with dozens of rockets against Israeli troop posts that reported no damage or victims.

Las Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement confirming that, after an air attack against a vehicle on the route that connects Meidoun with Sarira, important terrorist fighters had been killed although, in this case, they were not members of the Hezbollah militia but rather members of the group Lebanese Sunni Jamaa al Islamiya.

According to the Army and a subsequent confirmation of this extremist movement, the first of those killed was identified as Commander Mosab Khalaf. The second, of the same rank, was Bilal Mohamad Khalaf, also because of the “Treasonable Zionist attack in the Western Bekaa”the militia added.

For its part, the Lebanese National News Agency (ANN) reported the deaths of two people in an Israeli bombing but did not provide details about the victims.

According to Israel, the aforementioned Sunni group collaborates with Hamas in Lebanon so, with these casualties, the IDF sought to “harm” its ability to “carry out planned attacks” against its country.

Hezbollah, for its part, confirmed that Islamic Resistance fighters bombed the Habushit post and the headquarters of the Hermon 810 Brigade command in Maaleh Golani Field with dozens of Katyusha rockets. However, no casualties or damage have been reported yet.
