The Washington Post (WP) publication, after consulting intelligence sources, said that Moscow may have transferred modern Su-35 fighter jets to Tehran.
The move is believed to be part of broader military cooperation between Russia and Iran, including joint production of suicide drones and development of Iranian satellites.
According to WP, the agreement to buy Su-35 fighters will significantly enhance Iran’s military potential against the risk of conflict with Israel, when Tel Aviv showed that it was ready to respond to the attack on December 13. April.
