Digital Desk, New Delhi. After Iran’s ‘declaration of war’ on Eid, it finally carried out its attack on Israel late on Saturday night. In retaliation to the airstrike on the Syrian embassy, Israel was attacked with about 200 missiles and drones. Regarding this, Israel Defense Force (IDF) said that it was successful to a great extent in thwarting the aerial attack launched by Iran. However, the Israeli military base has been affected by the attack. The IDF reported that the Iranian missiles were destroyed before they entered Israeli airspace. Because of this, Iran’s attack on Israel has not had much impact. But, some drones and missiles had made inroads into the military base in southern Israel. Due to this the base has suffered some damage. The IDF also reported that infrastructure was also damaged by the attack. But, the extent of this damage has not been confirmed.
