Inclusive sports competitions were held with the support of AMANAT

In Astana, a children’s inclusive sports festival “Ten Mumkindikter” was held as part of the “Kedergisiz Keleshek” project of the AMANAT party. The initiator of the event was the public foundation “World of Equal Opportunities” and the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Liter.kz reports.

As AMANAT Executive Secretary Daulet Karibek noted, measures to protect children’s rights, as well as the creation of a barrier-free environment for the younger generation, are among the priorities in the party’s election program and the “Kedergisiz keleshek” project.

The country is systematically improving conditions for the full self-realization of children and adults with disabilities. Support for people with special needs is the focus of attention of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Being the public support of the President, the AMANAT party is also carrying out large-scale work in this direction. Thus, by 2028, our election program provides for opening at least one office to support inclusion in each locality. Our common mission is to ensure a happy childhood for all young Kazakhstanis,” the executive secretary emphasized.

Thus, there are currently 1,389 inclusion rooms in schools and 324 adaptive sports sections opened with the assistance of the party throughout the country. In addition, since the beginning of the year, AMANAT members have helped 630 citizens with disabilities find permanent jobs.

In turn, the organizer of the festival, head of the public foundation “World of Equal Opportunities”, general secretary of the Republican Boccia Federation Nurgul Ulzhekova emphasized that such festivals make it possible to integrate children with special needs into society and increase their social activity.

Inclusion is a reality that all members of modern society must accept. Starting from preschool education, it is necessary to instill in children a tolerant attitude towards persons with disabilities. And this is possible through proper information, through open lessons and sporting events. In general, sport is the most effective method of nurturing an independent personality and sustainable pursuit of goals,” she said.

At the festival, young athletes competed in strength and agility in athletics, boccia and relay races.

I try to play sports and be outdoors more often. Today I played boccia for the first time, I liked it, I think that now I will play it often,” he said.

Also taking part in the event were Mazhilis deputy, member of the AMANAT faction Natalya Dementyeva, executive secretary of the Astana city branch of the AMANAT party Muhammed Bolysbek, deputy head of the Astana city education department Marzhangul Kairbayeva and others.

It is worth noting that supporting people with special needs is one of AMANAT’s constant priorities.

Thus, as part of the implementation of the party’s election program “Together with the people!” last year, the process of establishing disability on the basis of electronic documents from medical institutions was legislated; about 5 thousand social facilities have been adapted; 8 early intervention centers have been opened for young children with developmental disorders and risks of their occurrence; 63 inclusion support rooms were also opened in schools. In addition, from January 1 of this year, the benefit for persons with disabilities of group I was increased from 89,248 to 95,496 tenge, group II – from 71,398 to 76,397 tenge, group III – from 48,681 to 52,089 tenge.
