According to village resident Shirkhan Safarov, he cured his grandchildren from measles with elk milk.
Doctor Mikayil Aliyev said that he considers the use of elk milk acceptable in the treatment of measles virus:
“If doctors can’t use drugs to boost the child’s immunity, then I consider it acceptable to use elk milk.”
