Epizootological monitoring will be conducted against mango, contagious metritis, African plague, rhinopneumonia and horse flu diseases of horses included in the list of special dangerous diseases of animals whose prevention, diagnosis and elimination are financed from the state budget in the field of veterinary medicine by the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency.

It was reported that during the monitoring to be held in Baku, Astara, Lerik, Jalilabad, Beylagan, Aghjabedi, Aghstafa, Gazakh, Tovuz, Samukh, Balaken, Zagatala, Gakh, Oguz, Gusar and Khachmaz districts, family and farm farms it is planned to take diagnostic samples to conduct laboratory examinations against the mentioned diseases among the kept horses, as well as conduct a general review of the farms, carry out purposeful awareness-raising measures for compliance with veterinary norms and rules, and collect and analyze epizootological data.
Specialists of AQTA and the Central Veterinary Laboratory of the Institute of Food Safety will participate in the monitoring.
