On August 5, actress Nam Thu suddenly held a press conference and announced that she would sue and demand justice for the girl with the Facebook nick ZD, who accused Nam Thu of having an affair with her husband.

However, immediately after that, there was a lot of information that Nam Thu held a press conference but had not been licensed by the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City.
Recently, Ms. Pham Dac My Tran, Head of Press Department – Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City, clarified further issues related to the media meeting of actress Nam Thu.
Ms. Tran affirmed: “All cases of organizing international conferences, seminars, and press conferences require a license from the competent authority before taking place. Business units and event venue rental units also need to clearly understand the regulations and need to ask the organizing unit whether it has a license or not.”
It is known that the inspector of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City sent an invitation to actress Nam Thu to work on the actress’s recent media meeting.

Previously, according to Ms. Pham Dac My Tran sharing with the media, she herself knew that Nam Thu organized the event on the afternoon of August 5.
However, after checking, the Press Department, Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City has not received the request for permission to hold a press conference from the actress.
“I confirm that up to this point, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications has not received a request for a press conference from Nam Thu,” Ms. Pham Dac My Tran shared.
It is known that if done correctly, the application for a press conference must be submitted 24 hours before the event takes place. Next, the Press Department of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City will advise on approving the application in accordance with the provisions of the Law.
In the opposite case, if the press conference is not properly permitted according to current regulations, it will be handled in accordance with the Decree on administrative sanctions for violations in press and publishing activities.
