Since December 2023, infectious hepatitis “A” virus disease has spread among the population of Amirjan and Bulbula settlements, Surakhani district of Baku city.

Publika.az informs that the Republican Hygiene and Epidemiology Center of the Ministry of Health released information about this.

It was reported that measures related to the spread of the disease are being continued:

“In connection with the preventive measures, monitoring is being carried out in the centralized drinking water network with the specialists of “Azersu” OJSC using laboratory examination methods. As a preventive measure, in the area of ​​the +54 Ramana central reservoir, which feeds the settlements of Amirjan and Bulbula, due to the temporary increase of residual chlorine in the water network 1 chlorine-containing reagent dosing pump was installed. At the same time, the specialists of the Surakhani District Sukanal Department of “Azersu” OJSC, together with the employees of the district GEM, carried out measures to wash and disinfect the reserve water tanks located in private houses, – the information emphasized. .
