A Turkish proverb says: “If you hit every barking dog, you will not reach the goal.”

Indeed! Galatasaray footballers saw this for themselves in Prague. The visiting analyst Yilmaz Yüksel wanted to send the barking Spartan Matěj Ryneš (22) to the ground with a so-called push kick to the stomach, but the midfielder elegantly pacified him, so the Turk himself ended up ignominiously on his back in a mass melee.

The spark of the skirmish after the final whistle was ignited by the home team’s Lukáš Haraslín (27) with the opponent’s coach Okan Buruk (50), who saw a red card. “I had a minor dispute with their coach there. I told him that their goalkeeper Muslera was holding him back when they needed to. Well, and Peter (Vindahl) was holding back again at 3:1,” described the Slovak representative. “He ran at me a bit, but we shook hands after the match,” he added.
