More than 10,000 young people experienced the new productions of the cultural association “Auf den Punkt” and showed how successful children’s and youth theater can be.
Vienna (OTS) – “A Week Full of Saturdays”, the turbulent story about Sams, Mr. Taschenbier and Mrs. Rotkohl based on the children’s book bestseller by Paul Maar, was the third production that Florian Wischenbart staged as a director at the Aken Theater.
As before with Erich Kästner’s “Pünktchen und Anton” and Ottfried Preussler’s “Krabat”, Vanessa Eder Messutat once again enchanted the audience with fantastic stage design and video effects in a breathtaking mix of lively slapstick and quiet, thoughtful moments.
“With its diverse audience, Theater Akzen is a wonderful partner for making lively and current theater,” says the director, summarizing his experiences. The successful cooperation is to be continued in the coming years. The children’s play “Räuber Hotzenplotz” is being discussed, as is the adaptation of the young adult novel “Anders” by Andreas Steinhöfel.
