The Ministry of Economy and Finance announced the full payment of salaries of the month of January for public workers that make up the General State Budget.
The state portfolio excused the delay due to the liquidity of the fiscal fund. For this reason, it prioritized the payment of salaries for the Armed Forces, National Police, education, health personnel and the rest of the public sector.
Default planned by the Government
The delay in payment of salaries for the month of February it was announced on Sunday, January 28, by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Pablo Vega.
There the official indicated that among the income they wish to receive to cover salary debts, include utilities of the year 2023 that delivers the Banco Central.
