New Delhi: There is great news for WhatsApp users. The company has started rolling out a new feature that makes chatting fun. The name of this new feature in WhatsApp is Suggested Contacts. Many times we forget some of the contacts present in our phone. The new feature will suggest names of these contacts only. WABetaInfo gave information about the Suggested Contact feature. WABetaInfo has also shared a screenshot of this feature. The option of suggested contacts will be available in the chat list. You can see this new feature in the shared screenshot.
The biggest feature of this feature is that it reminds to chat with those contacts whom the user has accidentally forgotten. This will also make it easier for users to stay connected with each other. Usually all users chat with only a limited number of contacts. The names of these users remain at the top of the chat list, due to which other contacts are missed even if they do not want to.
WABetaInfo spotted this new feature in WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.8.10.70. This update is available on the Test Flight app. The company has just rolled out this feature for only those beta users who will install the latest version of WhatsApp for iOS from the Test Flight app. It is expected that the company will start rolling it out for global users of iOS after beta testing. Android users may have to wait for a few more days for this amazing feature.
WABetaInfo has also given information about this new feature of WhatsApp. WhatsApp is now giving users a shortcut to access the phone’s photo gallery next to the chat bar. To access the photo gallery, you will see a ‘+’ icon here.
The company has just made this feature available in WhatsApp for iOS 24.7.75. Gradually it will reach all the users of this OS. The company can also release it for Android soon.
