Gérard Depardieu after release from custody: Escape to the Czech Republic!

As soon as he could, the first steps of the movie “Obelix” led from Paris to Prague to his girlfriend originally from Wallachia. On Tuesday afternoon, the movie giant was spotted shaking off the stress of the investigation over a drink at the Black Cat restaurant.

But he didn’t stay long and soon returned back to his temporary home. He stayed again in an apartment in the Old Town in the company of the Macedonian father of the actress Sara Sandeva (26) Antonio Sandeva. This time, the actress herself and Depardieu were also present as an experienced local she was willing to help with everything.

From the bistro, accompanied by his beautiful girlfriend, he went on cultural errands. Together, they got into the summoned Bavarian and were driven to Wenceslas Square, where his partner had to help him get out of the car for a precious moment. Together they then walked along Wilson Street to the New Building of the National Museum, where a smaller company was already waiting for them. And she was well prepared – knowing the actor’s mobility difficulties, they immediately brought him a wheelchair and then took him to the bowels of the art institution.

Gérard Depardieu definitely needs to come up with other ideas at the moment. A visit to Prague will surely come in handy as a welcome distraction… The actor is due to go on trial in October on charges of sexual assault, the Paris prosecutor’s office told CNN a week ago.

Because of this, he even ended up in custody last Monday, but the police released him the same day. He was supposed to have committed the attacks on two people – in September 2021 during the filming of the film The Green Shutters (Zelené okenice) and in 2014 during filming Magicien et les Siamois (The Magician and the Siamese).

The actor is also being formally investigated for suspicion of rape and sexual assault, which he allegedly committed in August 2018 on young actress Charlotte Arnould.

Depardieu has previously been investigated for alleged rape and sexual assault after a number of women filed complaints against him. The French actor denies all the accusations against him.
