Samsung may be considering significant processor tweaks for the new Galaxy S series in 2025.
Early last year, Samsung announced the signing of a multi-year contract with Qualcomm related to SoCs for high-end smartphones. However, this does not diminish Samsung’s efforts in developing its own Exynos chip line. According to an unofficial but considered reliable source from leaker OreXDA on XDA, Samsung seems to be planning to mainly apply Exynos chips to the Galaxy S series next year.

It is expected that in 2025, all three models Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 + and Galaxy S25 Ultra will be equipped with the new Exynos 2500 chip. However, Samsung will still maintain its commitment to Qualcomm by integrating Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (or “For Galaxy” variant) into the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 versions next year.
