Galán asked the national government to respect the management of Bogotá

However, he assured that since January 1, the day he began his term in the Mayor’s Office, a sustainability plan has been implemented with a budget of 260,000 million pesosnot only to cover the deficit, but also to improve health infrastructure in the city.

Furthermore, Galán asked the superintendent of health, Luis Carlos Leal, I know that before another entity intervenes, they will sit down to review the figures and study, together, the improvement plans.

“We have demonstrated our commitment to solve the structural problems of health subnetworks of Bogotá with concrete measures that we have advanced from day one and that we will continue to implement,” said the mayor.

As mayor, I request respect for the management of our city and the opportunity to resolve our problems independently. It cannot be that if the national government does not agree with our district policies, it seeks to ignore the territorial autonomy of Bogotá.
