The EU has been in a headlock between cultural Marxists, ideological Greens and unrealistic do-gooders for too long.
Vienna (OTS) – The European Union and Austria – a double-edged sword, because more and more Austrians are viewing the EU more than skeptically. And rightly so, because either the EU has failed on crucial issues where quick and sensible action is required or it is maneuvering itself into a corner completely unnecessarily. Such as:
- with the asylum crisis that has been going on for years – around 8 million asylum applications have been submitted within the EU since 2015, around 2/3 of them for economic reasons and the EU is still unable to ensure proper external border protection
- around the war in Ukraine, where the EU is only dancing to the tune of the USA and is fueling the bloodshed instead of finally taking peace initiatives
- the insanity of the “Green Deal”, where, from a global perspective, completely unnecessary packages of measures to supposedly improve the climate further damage the European economy instead of implementing proper industrialization measures
The EU is hardly bringing anything together and is actually accelerating the inferno in and around Europe. The FPÖ candidate for the upcoming EU election and FW General Secretary Reinhard Langthaler unequivocally said: “All of this political nonsense of the Frankenstein structure called the EU has currently reached such an extent that we have to put the brakes on very quickly. An emergency brake is needed to finally shake off the whole horde of cultural Marxists, deluded and radicalized Greens and unrealistic do-gooders in Brussels. What is needed is an alliance of simply normal, patriotic, freedom-loving and business-minded forces that will put the EU on a new footing in order to regain its weight on the world market.”
