The Wiener Neustadt ring closure is one of the best-tested infrastructure measures
St. Pölten (OTS) – “When it comes to drivers, families and commuters, the Green Vice Chancellor even goes astray to Lower Austria with his electric SUV. As far as the ring closure project is concerned, Kogler is completely unqualified. This is about quality of life, traffic safety and relieving the burden on town and city centers from through traffic,” says Lower Austria’s FPÖ Transport State Councilor LH Deputy Udo Landbauer.
“The fact that a vice chancellor even negates official procedures and disregards the decisions of independent courts is a scandal. We still live in a constitutional state and not in the green eco-dictatorship,” said Landbauer.
The ring closure is one of the most tested infrastructure measures in Lower Austria and has received positive decisions in all instances. The environmental impact has been clearly established. The measure stands for traffic safety and brings massive relief to urban traffic. This means more quality of life for the local communities and a secure, high-quality road network on the ring around Wiener Neustadt. Thanks to the direct connection to the new state hospital, the ring closure brings a massive improvement and shortening of travel times for the emergency services.
