FPÖ introduces motion for a resolution to prepare for rejection of the WHO pandemic treaty

In a motion for a resolution, the Freedom Party called on the ÖVP-Green federal government to “make preparations for the rejection of the so-called ‘WHO pandemic treaty’ and the amended International Health Regulations (IGV) and to report to the National Council on a monthly basis about the current status of negotiations on these items.” According to the Freedom Party, what is needed is “transparency and no politics in the quiet, but rather politics for the citizens of our country and not against them.” However, this FPÖ application was rejected by the governing parties ÖVP and Greens.
In particular, the WHO pandemic agreement that is being drawn up at EU level, the so-called pandemic treaty, which is due to be fully negotiated by May 2024, poses the risk of external control and the “loss of our national sovereignty if a lockdown or compulsory vaccination is imposed ‘at the push of a button’ can be prescribed to the EU elites”. Belakowitsch stated: “Neither the black-green federal government nor the EU elites can constantly ask the Austrians to pay while at the same time they want to deprive them of their basic rights and only make politics against them.”
