Mumbai: In a sad turn of events, director and producer Surya Kiran, who was famous for his film “Satyam”, has passed away due to health complications. Despite his initial success with “Satyam”, subsequent ventures did not bring him the expected recognition and appreciation in the film industry. After making a name for himself with his first directorial debut, Surya Kiran faced challenges and financial failures in his next productions. In an attempt to revive his career, he participated in the fourth season of the reality show “Bigg Boss Telugu”, but unfortunately, he was eliminated early in the competition.
Throughout his career, Surya Kiran struggled with various struggles and financial setbacks, attempting a comeback which did not succeed. One such attempt included planning a Tamil film titled “Sutharadhaari”, which did not succeed. Despite his determination, he faced setbacks that prevented him from achieving the success he aspired to.
Surya Kiran started his journey in the entertainment industry as a child artiste, acting in around two hundred films under the stage name Master Suresh before pursuing a career in direction. Despite the challenges he faced, he remained hopeful, especially after his stint in “Bigg Boss Telugu”. However, unexpected disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic foiled their plans of revival.
His personal life also faced challenges, including a divorce from actress Kalyani, whom he was once married to. With the untimely demise of Surya Kiran, the industry and his well-wishers have mourned the demise of a talented person who contributed to the world of cinema.
