Florian Silbereisen is now a permanent presence in the blockbuster industry. In the – documentary “70 Years of Saturday Night Show” he revealed who his “biggest fan” is.
Hamburg – Florian Silbereisen (42) is one of the best-known presenters on German television and for some time has also appeared as an actor in the ZDF series “Das Traumschiff”. His mother’s support and approval still seem to be very important to him. At least this is what his statement in the – documentary and in the “70 Years of the Saturday Night Show” report suggests.

First of all, a flashback was shown in which Rudi Carrell (†71) at the end of his last “Rudi Carrell Show” dedicated a rudigram to his biggest fan: his deceased mother. In it, the entertainer sang about how much he missed his mother’s calls after the show. Something that Florian Silbereisen, who has now clarified whether he will be the successor to “Wetten, dass ..?”, could understand by looking at this song.

“For me it’s definitely the same,” said the “Dream Ship” captain, who recently surprised everyone in his role with a love scene on the beach. “Mom is obviously the biggest fan.” As he explained, however, the phone calls take place before the show and not after the show. At the time Rudi Carrell made 90 minute programs and theirs were a little longer. “So we always talk on the phone beforehand.”

The 42-year-old, known to have a very close relationship with his mother, said sentimentally: “I don’t want to imagine what it would be like if she stopped calling.” Silbereisen is the youngest of five children and, according to “schlager.de”, has always been particularly supported by his mother. He raved about her in “MDR Riverboat”: “she IS one of my best friends, yes, a close confidant. She knows everything about me.”
