First look of Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman from ‘Hiramandi’ released

Mumbai: The makers of ‘Hiramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ surprised fans by releasing the first picture of the lead characters on Saturday. Actors Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badusha, Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman will be seen in important roles in the web series directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. According to a statement, Taha Shah plays the role of Badusha Tajdar Baloch, a man whose charisma knows no bounds, effortlessly charming everyone who comes his way with his magnetic personality. Fardeen Khan embodies the essence of nobility as Wali Mohammed, a man of dignity and integrity whose presence commands admiration. Shekhar Suman has breathed life into the character of Zulfiqar Ahmed, a domineering man whose mere presence exudes power and sophistication. Lastly, Adhyayan Suman plays Zorawar Ali Khan, an arrogant Nawab of considerable wealth whose motives are entirely driven by his selfishness. Talking about his character, Fardeen said, “Wali Mohammed embodies the essence of a Nawab, who always stands by the women of Heeramandi. My Netflix debut with a character like this feels like the perfect return to screen. Is.”

‘Hiramandi’ is scheduled to premiere on May 1 on Netflix.

The premiere date of the show, which is Bhansali’s first venture into digital content, was revealed recently during a drone light show at Mahalaxmi Race Course in south Mumbai. The grand event was attended by the show’s star cast Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Sehgal and Sanjeeda Shaikh, Bhansali Productions CEO Prerna Singh and Netflix India Series Director Tanya Bami. Announcing the release date at the event, Bhansali said, “I am grateful to the entire team for their tireless passion and dedication in bringing the world of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar to Netflix.
