“Ferrari” extends the agreement with Leclair

Leclair’s current contract with “Ferrari” will be valid until the end of the 2024 season, and the team’s statement did not specify how long the new agreement will last, only stressing that it will allow Leclair to represent “Ferrari” even after 2024.

“I am happy to wear the Ferrari suit for many more seasons to come. It has been my dream to compete for this team since I was three years old,” LeClair said in the statement.

Leclair has represented the “Ferrari” team since the beginning of the 2019 season, and after the first season in the ranks of the Italian team, he extended the agreement with “Ferrari” until the end of the 2024 season. For Ferrari, Leclair won five Grands Awards, he reached the podium 30 times and started from first place in 23 races.

The 26-year-old driver made his F-1 debut in 2018, representing the “Sauber” unit. In 2017, however, he won the Formula Two (F-2) championship.

Last season, Leclair finished in the top three six times and finished the world championship in fifth position.
