Tasnia Farin said, ‘This is the first film of my career. It was being shot very nicely. But the work stopped in the middle. Meanwhile, I got busy with drama work. After almost 6 years, director Dhruv Hasan bhai called and said that he wants to start working on the film again. I was surprised to hear that. But there was faith in him. Finally the film ended up doing very well and toured to a few festivals outside the country, winning awards as well. I myself am looking forward to seeing it on the big screen.’

It only shows the face of Fareen who plays the title role of the film. Regarding the name change of the film, director Dhruv Hasan said, “Dahkaal’ was originally the working title. After that, different versions of the story developed, and the name ‘Fatima’ was kept in accordance with them. This is now the story of the burning of Fatima.”
Musician Panth Kanai acted for the first time in this film. Regarding the new experience, he said, ‘I don’t know anything about this film; Suddenly one day director Dhruv Hassan called me. I thought a song would do. But Dhruva said to act! I am surprised to hear it! After many hesitations, I agreed. But a day before the shoot I asked Dhruv if I can be dropped. I can’t speak the dialogue. However, the director has done a good job with me.’
‘Fatima’ also features Yash Rohan, Tariq Anam Khan, Shahed Ali Sujan and others. They also expressed excitement and fascination about working on it.
