The roof of the renowned academy was about to collapse! Now his wife Jana Rudkovská (49) commented on the speculations, who came up with a surprising statement.
The world-famous figure skater Yevgeny Plushenko once again became the center of attention. But not because of his performance on the ice. According to the Russian media, the roof of the academy of the golden Olympian, which is located in the south-west of Moscow, was supposed to collapse!
According to the Mash account on the Russian social network Telegram, the roof collapse should have occurred on the night of February 25-26. Accumulated snow was said to be the cause. But now the situation has been clarified by Jana Rudkovská, Plushenko’s wife. The well-known producer explained what exactly happened. “I refute the speculation that the roof would collapse. It’s a lie!” said Rudkovská according to the Russian KP server. According to her, the weather took its toll on the building.
“After freezing rain and torrential snow, part of the supporting structure of the roof bent. We have started repairs. So that the craftsmen could replace the truss, they decided to dismantle the roof. In order to speed up the work with a large amount of snow, we cut the membrane so that all the frozen snow fell on the ice surface that was covered.” added Rudkovská, saying that she also has a video recording as proof. She subsequently stated that she was on the roof together with Plushenko to supervise the progress of the repairs. So no major damage was done.
