The purpose of the post is to prove Mamata Banerjee’s religious identity as Muslim.
Vishvas News in its investigation found it fake, which is being shared with the intention of election propaganda against Mamata Banerjee. Mamta Banerjee’s real name is Mamta Banerjee and her religious identity is Hindu and caste is Brahmin.

Social media user ‘Rajesh Bhardwaj’ went viral infographics (archive Link), in which Mamata Banerjee’s real name has been stated as ‘Mumtaz Masama Khatoon’.

Mamata Banerjee is an MLA from Bhawanipur assembly seat of West Bengal and during the 2021 assembly elections, she had filed her nomination papers (Form 2B) from this seat, in which she has mentioned her name as “Mamata Banerjee”. According to the affidavit, his father’s name is Promileshwar Banerjee.
