The pre-poll or opinion poll going viral in the name of Axis My India regarding Lok Sabha Elections 24 is fake, in which it has been claimed that there will be a close contest between the NDA and the opposition alliance. No such pre-poll survey has been released by the agency.

There are still six phases of voting left under Lok Sabha Elections 24 and before this, an opinion poll in the name of Axis My India is going viral on social media, about which it is being claimed that Indians will vote in this election. Janata Party (BJP) is not going to get majority and also National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is expected to get a slight lead over the opposition alliance.
In our investigation, we found that the opinion poll going viral in the name of Axis My India is fake. No such survey has been released by Axis My India. Also, Axis My India termed the viral pre-poll as fake and clarified that the agency never releases pre-poll or opinion poll.

Social media user ‘Priyanshu Kushwaha’ has shared the results of the four-page pre-poll survey of Axis My India in his post.
Many others on different platforms of social media users has shared this poll in a similar context.

While sharing the data of the final opinion poll of Axis My India in the viral post, it has been claimed that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, NDA is reportedly expected to get 243-254 seats, while Indi Alliance is expected to get 232-242 seats. Also, BJP is reportedly expected to get 208-219 seats and Congress is expected to get 115-123 seats.
Election Commission’s notification According to , there will be a ban on telecast of exit polls from 7 am on April 19 (first phase of voting) to 6.30 pm on June 1 (seventh phase of voting).

According to the statement, “The opinion poll being shared using the name of Pradeep Gupta (Axis My India) in relation to the upcoming 2024 general elections is completely false and Axis My India will never be a pre-election poll of any other publication. Does not publish opinion polls.”
