Meanwhile, Chief Conservator of Forests Amir Hossain Chowdhury controlled the Sundarbans fire from afternoon to 7:30 pm.
After the inspection, he said, the fire broke out in the shrubbery of the 4-5 acre area of the forest. Now there is no fire above. Even so, two teams of 20 members were divided in the evening to prevent the fire below from spreading. About the cause of the fire, he said, although it cannot be said specifically, the fire is spreading mainly from the layout of 7-8 inch thick organic matter of fallen leaves.
