Supervision and technical assistance will be carried out in health centers to ensure effective care for patients suffering from dengue.
The Ministry of Health (Minsa) announced that it will deploy elite technical teams in Metropolitan Lima in collaboration with the General Directorate of Health Operations (DGOS) to provide timely care to patients affected by dengue.

These teams will work day and night shifts with the aim of strengthening the capabilities of health personnel. This is for the purpose of verifying the clinical management and organization of services. Likewise, guarantee the availability of medications, human resources and beds assigned for the treatment of dengue patients.
In addition, they will ensure that the facilities meet the optimal conditions of infrastructure, equipment and necessary supplies. This is for the diagnosis and timely clinical management of patients with symptoms or warning signs.
Supervision in various health facilities
To date, several establishments have been supervised, including hospitals such as San Juan de Lurigancho, Sergio Bernales, Emergency Villa el Salvador and María Auxiliadora. As well as maternal and child centers and health centers such as El Progreso, Santa Luzmila II, Manuel Barreto, José Gálvez, Laura Rodríguez, Daniel Alcides Carrión, Santa Rosa, Huáscar XV and Juan Pablo II.
Improvements and follow-up actions
As a result of this monitoring, areas requiring improvement have been identified. For this reason, the Minsa is working closely with hospitals and health centers to implement the necessary measures.
These supervisory actions are carried out on an ongoing basis to ensure quality care for patients affected by dengue and benefit the general population.
