The revitalization work of the historic center of Apaneca in the municipality of Ahuachapán Centro does not stop, the DOM crews work on the restoration of the streets on the eastern side of the central park in compliance with the mandate of President Nayib Bukele.
Progress is also visible in the construction of two educational centers, one for Early Childhood Education and a General Francisco Menéndez school center.

Regarding the continuity of the historic center of Apaneca, the crews are concentrating their energies on the intervention of four blocks of 1st Avenue (South and North) and Francisco Menéndez Street in both directions.
On these roads, progress is being made in the layout and excavations for the placement of ductwork that will protect the underground wiring (telecommunications and electricity).
In addition, the curb and sidewalks are built and the ground is leveled to finally place the fourth stone that will harmonize with the first phase of the revitalization. While on the issue of the two educational centers, progress has allowed the placement of the foundations and compaction of the soil.
The project is developed within the framework of the Presidential Program My New School and is developed in an area greater than 360 linear meters, where the General Francisco Menéndez school center and the Preschool education center are built.
Using heavy machinery, the DOM staff lays the perimeter walls (with iron, blocks and concrete) that will support the ground to give firmness to the buildings that will house more than 650 students in the area and thus prevent slipping due to inclement weather. and the weather.
These works not only open a range of study opportunities for present and future generations, but also provide employment for 30 residents of the area. In that direction, the works include the placement of underground wiring around the park and the Catholic church.
The first phase of the Apaneca center renovation project was delivered on February 28 of this year. Together we are building the new El Salvador and the money is enough when no one steals.
