To encourage companies seeking to expand their commercial horizons, the Economic Development Directorate provides advice on issues related to export procedures, through which doubts about how to start this activity are clarified.

It is through personalized attention that citizens receive information about the potential of their product in foreign markets, in addition to the procedures and requirements that the destination country has.

Jorge Antonio Willy Portal, head of the agency, reported the above and said that this strategy primarily seeks to motivate small businesses to grow and explore new markets, in addition to equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to be successful in the internationalization process. .

“We want business owners to have the necessary support and guidance to take the step towards exporting, through a complete guide to help them understand and comply with the requirements of other countries,” said the official.

He mentioned that it is important to carry out an analysis of the products, know the basic principles for their export and develop a strategic plan that contemplates compliance with regulations and basic documents.

He said that the advice is carried out individually in the agency’s offices, with information sessions to answer their questions, and carry out the process together, with the purpose that local businessmen can compete successfully in global markets.
