Artist Quang Minh is not afraid to mention rumors about his sexuality and share about his current life after divorcing Hong Dao.
In the program Men’s story by artist Hoai Tam, Quang Minh had the opportunity to share about his current life after his divorce with actor Hong Dao.
At the beginning of the conversation, Quang Minh was comfortable talking about his ex-wife. After 5 years of divorce, he admitted that he still followed his ex-wife, even though he was in Vietnam and Hong Dao was in the US.
Recalling old memories, Quang Minh said that in the past, every time they went shopping, Hong Dao always indulged them. When they arrived, Hong Dao sat and watched the children while Quang Minh shopped freely. When the couple went to eat steak, Hong Dao drank wine while Quang Minh only drank milk.
“Our grandparents said we don’t value what we have, we only value it after we lose it. In the past, when I stayed home to eat rice all the time, I got frustrated and kept ordering food from outside because I was bored with rice. “At first after the divorce, I was tired of eating because I didn’t know how to cook. When I encountered those things, I realized how precious the things were before and it made me more mature.” I said.
Also in the program, Quang Minh spoke up about his gender suspicion. He said that wherever he goes, some people think he is a third gender, which makes him uncomfortable.
Before sharing this, Hoai Tam admitted that when he first started his career, he also thought Quang Minh was a third gender. However, after interacting and working with him for a long time, he realized that was not the case.
“Sometimes I saw Quang Minh joking with his younger siblings online so I was suspicious, but when I asked Hong Dao, she confirmed that Quang Minh is 99.99% a man.” Hoai Tam said.

Talking about current female role models, Quang Minh admitted to changing his mind quite a lot. He likes a simple girl and is afraid of women with makeup.

Quang Minh – Hong Dao are a famous comedian duo overseas and domestically. The couple fell in love while working together on the same stage and became husband and wife. They have two daughters together, Sophia Minh Chau and Vicky Phuong Van.
In 2019, the couple announced their divorce after 24 years of marriage. Even though they are no longer together in life and career, they still respect each other.
Currently, Hong Dao is in America so she often gets close and confides in her children. Even though Quang Minh is in Vietnam, he is always close and considers his children friends to care for and share with.
