Vienna (OTS) – ORF Vorarlberg is celebrating the timeless sound of the 1980s with a new show: “The 80s in the Mix” on ORF Radio Vorarlberg will bring the iconic hits of a legendary decade to the radio and to the streaming platform sound.> from April 20, 2024. To kick things off, there will be a unique 80s disco at the ORF Landesfunkhaus Vorarlberg in Dornbirn. The tickets will be raffled off exclusively on ORF Radio Vorarlberg.

Right now, when the music of the 80s is experiencing an impressive comeback through modern remixes, ORF Vorarlberg invites you to an unforgettable disco night: On Saturday, April 20th, the cult hits of the 80s and their new interpretations come together. A journey back in time to synthesizers, neon-colored leggings and perms awaits party guests at the ORF Landesfunkhaus Vorarlberg in Dornbirn. 80s costumes are expressly encouraged! With DJ there is the perfect mix of classics and modern beats. The 80s cocktails, a styling zone with professional make-up artists and the audience studio as a party location in the 80s style ensure a real experience.

At the same time as the big opening party, the first edition of the new program “The 80s in the Mix” can be heard on ORF Radio Vorarlberg. Every Saturday from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., presenter Roman Neugebauer brings the best of this decade musically to today and proves that the 80s hits are indestructible.
