Diana Kobzanová: Help for Davídek, whose father died (†41)

Davídek was born prematurely in the 24th week of pregnancy with a birth weight of 740 grams. To make matters worse, most of the complications she is dealing with now are the result of a difficult birth – she had her head stuck in the birth canal and a subsequent bleed on the brain.

He does not sleep through the night

In addition to regular rehabilitation and therapy, the boy’s health condition also requires the daily administration of a number of different medicines and vitamins. As Davídek gradually grows and develops, the treatment undergoes changes, which unfortunately has an adverse effect on his psyche. “With each change comes worsening insomnia, convulsions, hysterical fits and epilepsy. David needs constant care, he hardly sleeps at night and requires a parent’s constant presence during the day.” ex-model Diana Kobzanova explainswho knows the family personally and has been supporting them for three years.

Nutrition all the way from America

Caring for the little boy is also complicated by the fact that David receives only a liquid diet, the special composition of which is very expensive, costing up to 20,000 crowns a month. In addition, this essentially the only nutrition he tolerates is only available in the US.

“So the family regularly tries to use volunteers on Facebook to find people who are willing to deliver food to the Czech Republic on the way from overseas. The costs associated with sending nutrition by post or courier service across the ocean and other related fees are many times higher than the price of nutritional pouches.” explains Diana Kobzanova.

His parents took turns taking care of Davídek the whole time. David was on duty until two in the morning, then Míša started. Dad had to start working only part-time, because over time care became more and more demanding, practically impossible for one person during the day. Unfortunately, even this difficult life test was not enough.

My heart couldn’t stand it…

“Dad David died suddenly and unexpectedly at home of heart failure in February, just two weeks before his 42nd birthday. For the family, this event is absolutely devastating, not only emotionally, but at the same time, mother Míša and little Davídek lost the only person who provided all the family income from day to day.” describes Diana Kobzanova.

That’s why she started a collection for the mother and her son on the charity platform Donio. “The selected contributions will be used for all necessary rehabilitation, nutrition and other expenses related to the care of Davídek. At the same time, they will help Míša’s mother overcome the most difficult period of her life, when mother and David lost their only life security from day to day.” concludes Diana Kobzanova.
