Pakistan’s famous designer Maria B shared a video on her social media handles and called for a boycott of PSL. In the video, he said that ‘this movement is going on all over the world, the genocide that is happening in Palestine for five months and the rulers of our whole world are silent. We the people started this movement, in which our children boycotted the big companies including KFC, McDonald’s, Coke, Pepsi that fund Israel’s illegality. This movement was going on in Pakistan, but in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, PSL got only KFC to partner.

“Our heads are bowed in shame,” he added. The whole world is boycotting these companies and we are celebrating in Pakistan.

“Genocide is not a joke,” he said. Pakistani people should boycott PSL.

Similarly, many other users on social media also expressed their outrage over the partnership.

A user on X called Shakeel Ahmed demanded the government of Pakistan and the management of PSL to terminate the contract immediately.

Wali Khan criticized PCB in the post and said ‘Boycott PSL for the sake of the suffering children and people in Gaza’.

Asim Adeel said that KFC wants to regain its popularity through Pakistan Super League but the youth are not ready to accept it at the cost of Palestinian blood.

Hasnain also termed it as an unacceptable practice and wrote that ‘children are dying, and KFC is making profit. This is unacceptable. PSL will have to leave KFC.’
