Defeat India: England won the Hyderabad Test by 28 runs

India lost the first Test against England in Hyderabad despite a first innings lead.

On the fourth day of the first Test match of the series played in Hyderabad, the Indian team could only score 202 runs in pursuit of 230 runs.

Thus, England has managed to win this test match by 28 runs despite a deficit of 190 runs.

None of the Indian batsmen could spend much time at the crease in the second innings. The highest run scorer was Rohit Sharma who played an innings of 39 runs.

On the other hand, spinner Tom Hartley, who played his first Test match for England, was the most prominent bowler who guided seven Indian batsmen to the pavilion.

Earlier, England scored 246 runs in the first innings of the first Test match played in Hyderabad, in response to which India scored 436 runs in the first innings and took a lead of 190 runs thanks to half-centuries from Jaiswal, KL Rahul and Jadeja. Also got it.

However, England batted brilliantly in their second innings and scored 420 runs thanks to Ollie Pope’s brilliant innings. Thus, England had given India a target of 231 runs to win this match.
