The regular competition in the first and second national competitions is on its last legs, with two full match days left on Friday, March 29 and Friday, April 5. Wednesday evening it’s time for one last round of catch-up games.

No Limburgers will take action in the first national event. PIBO Belisia is following with great interest the games of Malle against FT Charleroi and those of Visé against Mouscron. The first must win to have a chance of being saved, while Mouscron is also best placed to triumph if PIBO still wants to keep up. “Visé can secure the play-offs, we hope this will motivate them extra,” says PIBO player-coach Sven Sleypen. In the second national B it is again a guiding evening for Houthalen La Baracca. Coach Vescera’s team plays after 6 on 6 in Wellen (Wednesday 9.15 p.m.), while relegation competitors Brussels (against Genk) and Schaerbeek (against Ranst) also have to play. (jotr)
