Benghazi, December 12, 2023 (Al-Anbaa Libya) – The “Football League for Medical Colleges” championship competitions, which began on Thursday, November 30, were concluded this evening, Tuesday, under the name “Derna Martyrs,” with the participation of (24) teams from various specialties. Medical Center, at the “Khamsiyat” Stadium in the Medical Colleges Complex in Benghazi.
In the final match of the tournament, the Dental Team (A) was able to win the championship, when it outperformed the Biomedical Sciences Team (A) by five goals to two, amid the presence and encouragement of both parties. The director of the activity office at the University of Benghazi, Issam Al-Ashibi, told the Libyan newspaper Al-Anbaa, saying: The football league championship for medical colleges was concluded under the slogan (Derna brings together the nation), praising the level of the tournament between the teams and that it was wonderful, and the level of competition between the colleges was good. Al-Ashibi continued: Everyone knows that studying medicine is difficult, especially since there is not enough time for students to entertain themselves, so in this tournament we wanted to take advantage of the opportunity and give them the opportunity to participate, noting that the management of the activity will have more than one effective sports participation for all students and All specialties.
