The collision with the train caused a 31-year-old female teacher in Quang Tri to die on the spot, while her motorbike was seriously damaged.
On February 19, Gio Linh district police (Quang Tri province) said that a collision between a motorbike and a train had just occurred in the area, causing one person to die on the spot.
At 11:16 a.m. on the same day, train SE17 was traveling in the North – South direction. When it arrived at Quarter 4, Gio Linh town (Gio Linh district), it collided with motorbike BKS 74B1-219.xx caused by Ms. Nguyen Thi H. (31 years old, living in Gio Chau commune, Gio Linh district), driving in the direction of Gio Linh town – Gio Chau commune.
The collision caused Ms. H. to die on the spot, while the motorbike was seriously damaged.
It is known that Ms. H. is a teacher at a private school in Dong Ha City (Quang Tri province). At the time of the accident, Ms. H. was returning home from school in Gio Chau commune.
Currently, the victim’s body has been handed over by the authorities to the family to take care of the funeral.
