Publika.az “Izvestia” informs about this with reference to Revaz Yusupov, deputy general director of the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (CRPT).
“Russian manufacturers are actively working to replace foreign companies that have left the Russian market. According to analytical data, not only production, but also sales of clothes have increased,” said Yusupov.
According to him, compared to 2022, jackets have decreased by 15 percent and currently their price is 8.4 thousand rubles. Also, the prices of rainy weather clothes decreased by 15 percent – up to 6.4 thousand rubles. At the same time, the price of windshields has decreased by six percent and can now be bought for 3.3 thousand rubles. Jackets are now sold for 3.8 thousand rubles, their prices have decreased by 17 percent. At the same time, the average price of blouses has not changed and is a thousand rubles.
It should be noted that after foreign brands left Russia in May, it was reported that the prices of clothes, shoes and accessories increased by 30 percent. Anna Lebsak-Kleymans, CEO of Fashion Consulting Group (FCG), gave such information about the market.
