A class action lawsuit is pending in the United States District Court for the Central District of California (the “Court”). The lawsuit is entitled Jane Doe v. MindGeek USA Incorporated, MindGeek SARL, MG Freesites, LTD, d/b/a Pornhub, MG Freesites II, LTD, MG Content RT Limited, and 9219-1568 Quebec, Inc. d/b/a MindGeek, No. SACV 21-00338-CJC (ADSx) The Court has ruled that this action is a class action lawsuit is intended to act on behalf of a “class class,” which may include you. Below you will find a summary of your rights and options before the upcoming hearing in August 2024.
What is this litigation about?
Plaintiff alleges that MindGeek USA Incorporated, MindGeek SARL, MG Freesites, LTD, d/b/a Pornhub, MG Freesites II, LTD, MG Content RT Limited, and 9219-1568 Quebec, Inc. d/b/a MindGeek ( collectively “Defendants”) were systematically involved in the sex trafficking of tens of thousands of children by distributing mass child sexual abuse material (“CSAM”) on the websites Pornhub.com, Pornhubpremium.com, Redtube.com, Redtubepremium.com, YouPorn.com , YouPornpremium.com, Tube8.com, Mofosex.com, ExtremeTube.com, Spankwire.com, Keezmovies.com, Thumbzilla.com and XTube.com received, distributed and benefited from it. The defendants deny any wrongdoing. The court did not decide who was right or wrong. There is no money available at this time, nor is there any guarantee that it ever will be available. However, your legal rights are affected and you must make a decision now.

California Subgroup: Class Members residing in California who were under 18 years of age when appearing in a video or image uploaded or otherwise made available on any website owned or operated by MindGeek, including Pornhub. com, Pornhubpremium.com, Redtube.com, Redtubepremium.com, YouPorn.com, YouPornpremium.com, Tube8.com, Mofosex.com, ExtremeTube.com, Spankwire.com, Keezmovies.com, Thumbzilla.com and XTube.com, in the period from February 19, 2011 to today.
What are my options?
You can do nothing or exclude yourself.
Do nothing. If you do nothing, you will retain the opportunity to receive any money or benefits that may result from a lawsuit or settlement. However, you waive the right to separately sue the defendants for the same legal claims in this dispute. You are bound by the outcome of this litigation.
Request for exclusion. If a class member wishes to be excluded from this class action, they may complete and return the Class Exclusion Request form available at www.MindGeekClassActionLitigation.com. If you ask to be excluded from this litigation and are later awarded money or benefits, you will not involved in these services. However, you retain the right to separately sue the defendants for the same legal claims in this dispute. You are attached to the outcome of this litigation not bound. The negotiation.
The hearing is scheduled for August 2024. The court appointed the law firm of Susman Godfrey LLP to represent the class members as class counsel. You do not have to attend the hearing. Class counsel will argue the case for the plaintiff and class, and defendants’ counsel will argue on their behalf. You or your own attorney are welcome to attend at your own expense.
