China publishes new images of its next-generation aircraft carrier

China Central Television (CCTV) has published new images of its new generation aircraft carrier Fujian, as seen in a video shared on social networks.

In the recording, three electromagnetic ejection tracks are observed, as well as a full-size model of the folding-wing aircraft on the ship’s tail deck, which can give an approximate idea of ​​how many aircraft it could transport in the future, local media reported. .

Military affairs specialist Shi Hong said that the ship has entered the final phase of its construction, detailing that it only needs to install some equipment on board and complete the marking of the deck, so there is less and less left. so that it can be tested.

Launched and christened on June 17, 2022 with hull number 18, it is the first catapult-type aircraft carrier designed and built completely independently by China. It is equipped with electromagnetic ejection and arresting devices, and has a fully loaded displacement of more than 80,000 tons.
