Samsun’s Canik Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı stated that they will continue to implement new support programs for farmers in the district. Stating that they will continue to contribute to farmers growing crops with high product efficiency by increasing Canik’s potential in agricultural production, Mayor Sandıkçı said, “We stand by our farmers.”
Stating that they protected the soil structure of the district and prevented unconscious fertilization with the Soil Analysis Project they carried out in the district, Sandıkçı said, “We supported our farmers with projects that focused on the concept of sustainable agriculture. We ensured that our farmer brothers and sisters carried out agricultural production efficiently. In the process we have reached so far, we have provided 35 thousand kilograms of certified wheat seeds and 25 thousand 500 kilograms of fertilizer support to our farmer brothers and sisters in our district. We encouraged our farmer brothers and sisters to produce new products suitable for the soil structure of our district.
