Camilo Quiroz, receives support from Servipan, a leading company in the region

The candidate for Mayor of Valledupar, Camilo Quiroz, has received crucial support from Servipan, a recognized leading company in the department, with a long tradition in generating employment in the city.

During the meeting with more than 50 Servipan employees, the candidate highlighted the importance of providing Valledupar with the opportunities it deserves and fostering a sustainable economic environment so that companies like these, which generate local employment, can maintain their productivity and dynamism.

«It is time to stop comparing ourselves with other cities like Riohacha and Santa Marta. Valledupar has a future and we must believe in our potential. We are the cradle of culture, and it is essential that you not only visit us in April during the Vallenato Festival, that is why we must fill our streets with tourists and people from other regions to stimulate our economy so that companies and enterprises from all sectors can grow,” said the candidate.

Quiroz also presented his ambitious proposal for solar panels, which aims to turn Valledupar into the solar capital of Colombia. This initiative would benefit 20 thousand families who will be able to relieve their pockets and will no longer be tied to Afinia.

The visit culminated with a firm commitment: «I will dedicate all my efforts to Valledupar because I love my land. From the mayor’s office, I will work to make each of my proposals a reality, which have enough argument and study to make them viable. In other places they have already achieved important technological and cultural advances and here we also have everything to achieve it. “We are willing to win and transform Valledupar into a beacon of progress,” he expressed.
