US President Joe Biden’s dog Major has bitten US Secret Service agents at least 24 times. New documents on Thursday (February 22) revealed the information. The British media reported the news.
According to information from the Secret Service of the White House, Biden’s dog has caused panic among the president’s bodyguards. This German Shepherd has bitten 24 times so far.
The documents were released on a Freedom of Information basis. Secret Service agents are therefore asked to protect the identity and secrecy of their security strategies.
According to the report, at least 24 people were bitten between October 2022 and July 2023. Secret Service members have been bitten on the wrists, arms, elbows, waist, chest, thighs and shoulders.
It is known that on the night of September 26 last year, an agent of the Secret Service assigned to the security of the White House was bitten by Biden’s pet dog. Then on October 4, Biden’s pet dog was removed from the White House.
Biden brought Commander in front of everyone in December 2021. He then tweeted a photo of a puppy running with a tennis ball in its mouth. The caption of the photo read, ‘Welcome to the White House’.
Biden has two German Shepherd dogs. His other dog’s name is Major. Of these two, the commander is younger in age. Biden’s brother James gave the commander as a gift.
