Reported from US Magazine, Monday (22/7/2024), Bella Hadid assessed that Adidas less transparent in the collaboration in the latest advertisement he starred in.
She was upset because the company presented an advertisement related to the Munich Massacre tragedy at the 1972 Olympics. Bella felt that Adidas had pioneered a cruel campaign, and was at odds with her, who always advocated for peace.
“The violence is not consistent with Bella’s views. It is the company’s responsibility to properly examine their own campaign and the historical events surrounding it,” a source said.

The younger sister of supermodel Gigi Hadid is not concerned about her photo being removed from the ad. However, she is upset that Adidas made a reference to the Munich Massacre at the 1972 Olympics, without her knowledge.
On the other hand, the company later claimed that any link made between the re-released Olympic special edition shoe advertising campaign and the tragic events of 1972 was completely unintentional.
As is known, Adidas has drawn criticism from Israel and other countries for not only including the 27-year-old model, who is of Palestinian descent, in the advertisement, but also for using the 1972 Olympics as inspiration despite the terrorist attacks that took place at the event.
Israel condemned the ad, as well as Bella’s involvement, on their X account on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Adidas later apologized for the ad and said they would revise the rest of the shoe ads.
