In the first half of the season, 25 girls played at least one match in the Latvian U16 national team. In the Baltic Sea Cup they were joined by Maija Aploka and Tīna Karlsone, while on January 16 the Ogre Patricija girls Daniela Bediķe and Anete Sirmā experienced their debut match.
The unrestricted Cadets team did not have the strength to fight for rebounds (46-58, 11-27 offensively), but the shooting accuracy was significantly better: from 48 to 32%. Even Charlotte Skrebele’s 24 points didn’t save the home team.

Rules of the game
Ten teams, nine from Latvia and one from Estonia, will play a two-round tournament, competing home and away (18 matches). The top four teams will qualify for the “Final Four”. Second division teams will not participate in the first division playoffs.
Where can you watch the games?
Some of the games will be shown live on YouTube and will be published in Sportacentrs.com articles. The games are broadcast from rooms where automatic cameras are installed. There are none, for example, in the fifth Valmiera middle school and in the “Depot” hall in Riga. Broadcasts of Ventspils matches depend on the layout of the hall of the Ventspils Olympic Center: if it is divided into several fields, the broadcast from the field further away is not possible.
