On November 5, the 6th China International Import Expo started in Shanghai, a major financial and business center of China.
Publika.az reports that the 6th China International Import Expo aims to promote the entry of foreign products and services into the Chinese market. The exhibition was attended by 3,400 participants from 154 countries and international organizations, including 289 companies from the “Global Fortune 500” list. About 410 thousand professional visitors registered for the exhibition. In addition to the national stands of more than 70 countries, business pavilions of companies in various fields also operate at the Shanghai exhibition.
During the exhibition, which will last until November 10, more than 400 products, technologies and services will be presented to the public for the first time.
A delegation consisting of heads of state institutions is participating in the exhibition under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, co-chairman of Azerbaijan-China Intergovernmental Trade and Economic Cooperation Commission Shahin Mustafayev.
Wine brands, other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, confectionery, nuts, pomegranate juice, preserves and other products produced by Azerbaijani companies are displayed at the “Made in Azerbaijan” stand. Visitors are presented with catalogs of Azerbaijani products, tasting of products is held. Special places are reserved for bilateral meetings at the stand, where Azerbaijani entrepreneurs can hold meetings with their colleagues from foreign countries and discuss product export.
