The Intellectual Property Agency will implement the “Open Registers” information resource to collect information on patents granted for inventions, utility models and industrial samples in registers that act as a database.
From the agency Publika.azAccording to the information given to , everyone will have the opportunity to enter the register in that database without hindrance and free of charge, they will get acquainted with other necessary information, including about valid and invalid patents.
“Open register” will be a more convenient information base for those who get patents, especially those who want to get patents. Because every person who wants to get a patent will be able to get information in advance about whether there is a national invention corresponding to his invention.
In addition, with the help of the information source, it will be possible to search for information about registered inventions, utility models and industrial samples, to learn the status of patents, to obtain other necessary information about patent authors and owners.
At the same time, the information in the registers will be in Russian as well as in Azerbaijani.
In addition, the “Open Register” for trademarks will be launched soon.
