Mumbai: Indian filmmaker Atlee, who is known for his award-winning work in the Tamil industry. He joined hands with Shahrukh Khan for the first time with Jawan and his first directorial Hindi film broke records. Some time back, he was at an event where he talked openly about coming up with a sequel to the film. Fans are very excited to hear this news and are eagerly waiting for Jawan 2.
Atlee talks about Jawan 2 and his collaboration with Shahrukh Khan
Popular filmmaker Arun Kumar, known professionally as Atlee, won the hearts of Hindi cinema lovers last year with his film Jawan. While the star power of Shah Rukh Khan added to the film’s credibility, the story, action, songs, cast and performances synergized to make it a commercial success. Some time ago he had participated in an event of ABP. Speaking to the media after the event, Atlee confidently said that he had said what he had to say.
According to him, he also answered all the questions asked to him very honestly. When asked if he was working on Jawan 2, the filmmaker said, “I’m not sure about it.” Atlee further said, “But I will write something, I will surprise you. Every film has a chance of getting a sequel but I always surprise the audience with more, different content. So, I’ll bring something. Let’s see.”
When asked if he would join hands with Shah Rukh Khan again, the director-producer said, “Of course, there is no denial. We will work together. When, how, what, all this is with Shahrukh sir. Talking about working with Shahrukh and the atmosphere during the shooting, he said, “It was great. He was the most fun, emotionally driven person to work with, and he was visionary and very punctual. He is an expert on how a film should be made and he is definitely my cinema Bible.”
